Your Biggest Problem
What is your biggest life problem today? Do you need a miracle? Have you reached your deadline, or are you just at the breaking point in some area of your life (finances, job, family, home foreclosure, addiction, health, anxiety, or other?). If so, no matter what your deadline is, consider this: You have AT LEAST one more day of prayer left! You can pray to God today, gain His favor, and turn your situation around for the better.
Please Pray for Me
‘Please pray for me’. That’s a phrase I often hear from people. Honestly, it’s great to have other people perform intercessory prayer for you. Yet, all you really need in order to have your own prayers answered by God is the faith of a mustard seed (See Matthew 17:20). Even that small amount of faith can move mighty mountains.
So, how do you develop your faith when you don’t know where to start? The straightforward answer is to simply START trusting God. You have to start somewhere. God is your Father, Creator, Friend, Advocate, Maker, Supplier, Protector, Defender, Ally, Partner, Source, Provision, Counsel, Guide, Strong Tower, Rock, and more. He can, and will turn anything around for you if you believe. If you’re having trouble starting to trust God, just consider all that He made including the universe, your body, your respiratory system, the planets, insects, birds, lions, grass, mountains, the earth, and more. Based on that brief example of how great God is, doesn’t it seem reasonable that He can deliver you from anything in life, and help you with the same? In addition, doesn’t it seem beneficial to trust Him? After all, if He framed the world (See Hebrews 11:3), how much more can He do for you? If you want to develop your faith in God, start where you are and He will help you with your unbelief (See Mark 9:24)!
So here is a challenge for you (I do this all the time, by the way). This is a five-step strategy that you can use to get your breakthrough in life. Do you need a major breakthrough? If so, do this:
- Think about your greatest need in your life right now and pray. Pray sincerely for God to show you His will, deliver you, have mercy on you, and to show Himself strong on your behalf.
- Write down a note of gratitude/praise on a sheet of paper, expressing thanks for your deliverance by God by the ‘deadline’ of your issue. Ex. ‘Thank you God for giving me the job I needed by X date. I trust you, and I know you hear my prayers and since you hear them you answered them (See Matthew 6:6). I trust that you will guide me in all that I need to do, and if there is anything I’m doing wrong, you will correct me.’
- Keep your faith, believing without a doubt that God will deliver you from your circumstances. Reason is a faith breaker. Don’t ever forget that! By reasoning, Peter began to sink when he walked on water toward Jesus (See Matthew 14:29). His mind told him, ‘Man ain’t supposed to walk on water’. But before that, his faith told him, ‘Walk on water. Jesus will make sure I don’t sink’. Have faith, and know that faith requires you to step out of your comfort zone of reasoning.
- Next, save that sheet of paper and put it someplace special, perhaps even looking at it each day to remind yourself of your deliverance by God. That paper represents your faith. It represents the substance of things hoped for (See Hebrews 11:1). Guard it and confide in what you’ve written down. You were led by the Holy Spirit to write that down because you were seeking God’s will before you wrote it.
- Finally, on the due date of your breakthrough, look at the paper to remind yourself of where you were before God delivered you. In doing so, you will be building a memorial (See Joshua 4:7) that honors God, and reminds you of how God brought you out of your situation, and He can do it again in the future.
My Personal Testimony for Your Edification
This is honestly something I consistently do whenever I need a major breakthrough in life. I can’t count one time that this has not worked for me, and it just worked for me today (Yes, about a week ago I actually wrote down a miracle I needed. I got that miracle today! I literally looked at the paper I wrote it on just a few minutes ago. And I checked the item off my list as signed, sealed, and delivered by God. He is a miracle worker)!
So anyway, remind yourself that faith is ALWAYS unconventional. Sometimes you just have to step outside of the box in order to get some things in life that can’t fit in a box. Amen?
Conclusion
The main thing here is to pray according to God’s will, and have faith that you will receive your miracle. Without faith, it is impossible to please God (See Hebrews 11:6). Then, by faith you are writing down your breakthrough in advance. You should now know that as long as your faith is perfectly aligned with God’s will, He will give you your victory.
Believing God will give you your breakthrough…if you just believe,
David

[...] So, what if you don’t have faith? And how do you develop your faith? The answer to both of these questions is to just start where you are. God will start with the little to no faith that you have right now, and help you develop more faith (See Mark 9:24).
