The Focus
The focus of this blog is spirituality. However, it’s important that I mention the blog is primarily about Christian spirituality. I am a Christian, and I have no qualms about that. My primary goal is to deliver my Christian beliefs to others and motivate them to achieve success in themselves through the application of biblical principles.
The Title
The title of my blog comes from the Bible in Matthew 15, in which Jesus informs a woman that the children’s bread is meant for the children of the Kingdom:
Mat 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. Mat 15:23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Mat 15:25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. Mat 15:26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. Mat 15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. Mat 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
I take ‘bread’ to mean the Word of God, but other meanings apply as well, such as the gifts and blessings of the Kingdom (ex. healing). This blog and its content is dedicated to you, the ‘children’ of the Kingdom. I am also a child of the Kingdom, so please don’t be offended by that phrase. Note: If people that aren’t of the Kingdom get made whole off of crumbs [Matthew 15:28 above], how much more does God have in store for you (being a child of the Kingdom)? Much more than crumbs!
The Subject
The general subject is spiritual motivation for business, home, and life in general. I want you to be able to apply the concepts, testimonies, tips, and resources here to all aspects of your life in order to achieve the unimaginable through your faith and spirituality. Our education, skills, experiences, finances, networks, and other elements of life help us achieve a great deal. However, add to those factors spirituality and you will be able to achieve the impossible. Why? The reason is that spirituality is ‘God working with you’, not just you working alone or with other people. That, in itself is an unstoppable competitive advantage.
I have noticed that the majority of my business successes are attributable to my connection with God, and the resources He provides me (information, ability, finances, people, power, favor, and others). He is my ‘strategic partner’ and sustainable, competitive advantage. Though I talk mostly about the business aspects of spirituality (as I am a business owner), you should apply the material to all areas of your life (career, family, charity, and so on).
The Purpose
The ‘preparing for eternity’ issue is one of the main reasons I started writing about spirituality. Many people are not ready, although I believe I am. However, God is after His lost sheep, and although it would be easy for me to hoard what I know and keep it for myself, God would not approve of it, and I would probably be convicted of not saying what needs to be said. Ironically, every word that God sends forth profits and it is delivered at the right time. I don’t necessarily know who my blog will affect, but I know it will affect somebody when they need it most.
As believers, we don’t necessarily have to know what will happen once we speak a word from God, we just have to go forth and say it. Paul planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase (1Corinthians 3:6). We have to plant in due season, and it’s always the right time when God directs us to do it. I’ve been blogging about spirituality for several months, and people often get taken back because @exchangepro doesn’t just tweet about Exchange Pro, LLC. I tweet a lot about spiritual motivation for business and life. Also, life is about more than business, and I want to motivate people to achieve higher levels in God.
Further, who says we have to wait for eternity to enjoy the Promises of God (peace, provision, power, protection, wisdom, favor, influence, honor, and more)? They are right here on earth. So we can have them here as well as in Heaven. That said, asside from the ‘eternity’ issue, I want to help you live the life on earth God has planned for you.

The Promises
- I promise to bring you honest, practical, interesting, and motivational content. You will, at the very least, attain a higher fire within you after reading just a few of my posts.
- I will not publish posts that automatically conform to conventional wisdom for the sake of ‘fitting in’. By creating this blog, I already established the point that I don’t strive to just ‘fit in’. Children’s Bread goes against the grain, simply because I blog about the spiritual aspect of ‘business’ and life in general (that certainly is not a normal, mainstream thing).
- I also will not create posts just to get high SEO rankings from Google keywords. You will get good, detailed, quality content that will take you deeper than some superficial post made to gain a good Google score and sell ads.
- You will get posts from my unique perspective of the Bible and revelations I receive of God through the Holy Spirit. Just as I strive to be different from the masses, I encourage you to do the same. God created individuals, not tribes. Note: Anybody can be ‘everybody’. We all should do something different to make a difference.
- I also assure you that I will listen to your feedback and consider complimentary or opposing viewpoints. I am in no way perfect in knowledge or wisdom, and am open to your perspective.
